Billy is a lifelong St. Charles Parish resident, Hahnville High School Class of 2000, and a U.S. Marine Corps veteran who served from 2000–2005.
He has trained Brazilian Jiu Jitsu for 13 years and has been a black belt for 3 years. His approach blends Brazilian Jiu Jitsu with wrestling and Judo for practical, well-rounded grappling and self-defense.
Billy is also the Senior Defensive Tactics Instructor at the New Orleans Police Academy, where he teaches Strategic Self-Defense and Gun Tactics (SSGT) to recruits and in-service personnel.
